ABOUT KAREN WARD and THIRD WAY
I'm Karen Ward, and I have found that the Anglican way of being Christian has a depth of ecclesiology: (authentic Catholic tradition and substance, with a reforming principle) where emerging Christians and spiritual seekers alike, can find 'home.'
I am an Episcopal priest serving as Abbess and Vicar of Church of the Apostles, Seattle, an intentional, sacramental community in the way of Jesus Christ (www.apostleschurch.org)
SPEAKING and CONSULTING
A part of my monastic, 'priest-worker' support I do event speaking for mainline denominations and mission consulting with Episcopal diocese.
My areas of speaking and work are: emerging church in the mainline, new monasticism, emerging Anglicanism, emerging missiology, emerging liturgy, culture shifts, trends and their implications for church mission, connecting with emerging generations, emerging church planting and fresh expressions/new forms of church.
